With my latest novel in the hands of my publisher, Piatkus, I am between books. So my writing news concerns my two books coming out on 6th February,  A TAPESTRY OF DREAMS in hardback and IN THE SILENCE OF THE SNOW in paperback, both by Jessica Blair. The first of those is set in the 19th Century with a background of sheep farming in Lincolnshire and the woollen industry of the West Riding of Yorkshire. It tells the story of Susannah, a rich heiress who falls in love with Daniel, who will inherit his father’s woollen business but yearns for greater riches.

In The Silence of the Snow has a background of two world wars against which is placed the story of two North Yorkshire landed families and how they are effected by those tumultuous times.
