A Writer’s Life

July 16th, 2011 Posted in DIARY, My Writing Life, Work in Hand

I’m half way (50,000 words) into my new novel. Itching to get on with it.

Progress interupted by having to check the edited copy of THE ROAD BENEATH ME which is wanted by the publisher, Piatkus, by 26th.  Rain helped today – kept me indoors so I spent most of the time checking.  It should be in the publisher’s hands on time. Thanks rain.

Going to bed to do some reading -  The Day Is Dark by Yrsa Sigurdardottir an Icelandic crime writer. I’m reviewing her book for my newspaper column.

I’ve tweeted and now I’ve bloged.

A Writer’s life is never dull!
