Writing World keeps turning

July 19th, 2011 Posted in DIARY, My Writing Life

A beautiful morning. I went for a walk. Blue sky with a hint of whispy clouds and no wind. Peace and tranquility enveloped the countryside and me. It made me think that if everybody in the world could experience this there would be no trouble – we would all live happily together. But human nature does not let us. However there I was, experiencing it.

The novel has been in abayance  for a few days because of the editing of THE ROAD BENEATH ME. I was determined that before the day was out I would have it flowing again. I got coffee. Cleared up some emails, checked Twitter. Then the phone calls started! 6 of them and 4 of them weren’t short. One was inviting me to lunch on Thursday. This together with other two invitations means I’m out to lunch three times in a week! When will the novel really flow?

Well, there was a trickle this afternoon. There’s a lot of it in my mind. Just a matter of opening the flood gates, but they are a little bit stiff at the moment.

Incoming email told me, Jessica Blair has 11 Ebooks currently available. 2 Digital Downloads coming on 21st July and 10 more on 25 August. Hachette Digital. (Little Brown. Piatkus). So my writing world keeps turning.
