January 2010

March 10th sees the publication of my latest hardback, SEALED SECRETS, published by Piatkus. On May 5th STAY WITH ME will be published by Piatkus in paperback. They will be appearing in Large Print and Story Sound later in the year.

My Westerns continue to appear in Large Print at regular intervals, all published by Magna Large Print.

I recently completed another Jessica Blair novel entitled I WEPT FOR THE MORNING SUN which is now in hands of my publisher. It will probably be published in 2011.

Now I am working on ideas for the next Jessica Blair novel.

I continue to run my Book Review column in my local weekly paper Gazette and Herald published in York. It is a column I have run for many years and now I enlist the help of my twin daughters who are excellent assessors of the written word. We all love books.

I was recently interviewed for a feature that will appear in the Colour Supplement of the Independent On Sunday. It is about Romantic Fiction. The journalist was interviewing three novelists, members of the Romantic Novelists’ Association, - two females and one male. The feature is to appear on 14th February – appropriately Valentine’s Day.

I am doing a signing session at the Whitby Bookshop in Church Street, Whitby on Saturday 16th May, 1 until 3, and would be delighted to see anyone interested.

On Tuesday 29th June I am giving a talk, along with another writer, Benita Brown, during Middlesbrough’s Literary Festival. The event will take place in the Acklam Library 6 – 8 pm. Again, we would be delighted to see anyone interested.
