This museum is much bigger than it appears on this photograph. It extends through to and includes the white buildings on the right. There is also much more behind the main building. It is a superb museum devoted mainly, as the name implies, to the Fishing Industry. The presentation of every aspect is excellent. Fascinated, I spent a long time in this museum when on holiday in Fife. with its many intriguing fishing villages and superb coastline. I bought at the museum THE REAL PRICE OF FISH – the story of Scotland’s Fishing Industry and communities. Concise and erudite text and a wealth of photographs excellently presented for £6.95. A bargain for My Bookshelves.
I did find a couple more bookshops and now placed on My Bookshelves are BARROW’S BOYS, 1900 HOUSE, VENUS PETER SAVES THE WHALE, THE NATIVE TRIBES OF NORTH AMERICA. Quite a variety to pick up on the coast of Fife.
