Two of my novels:

THE ROAD BENEATH ME by Jessica Blair is published in paperback on 2nd February 2013 by Piatkus, an imprint of Little Brown Book Group. Set in 19th century Whitby it follows the fortunes of Kate, a Whitby girl, and Malcolm a Shetlander. Fate brings them together only for it to bring separation on the eve of marriage. Dispute, intrigue, and attempted murder when the the Highland Clearances take place, take the story to Nova Scotia before it returns to Whitby.

In The Silence of the Snow — **IN THE SILENCE OF THE SNOW** by Jessica Blair is published in hardback on 7th February 2013 by Piatkus, an imprint of the Little Brown Book Group. This is the story of three families, two English and one French and covers their relationship through two World Wars – the Western Front – the Land Army – the RAF – and the SOE. Promises are made but secrets will out to test the strengths of friendship and devotion to duty.
