Back Again

August 1st, 2009 Posted in Books

Hi everyone, I’m back!

The reason for my long absence — one of my daughters has been in hospital for 6 weeks — kidney failure but it was treated in time and now both kidneys are back to normal.  The local doctors and hospital staff were wonderful. She is now at home with me  — recovering with TLC, — a good job she likes my cooking! She hopes she may be able to go to her own home in a fortnight.

I kept my writing ticking over. Now I should be able to get back to a regular writing schedule soon.   Oh,  but there’s cricket  —  the Ashes will hold a lot of my attention.

That’s wonderful news! So pleased. I shall expect to hear that she’s been treated like royalty. It’s a good job she likes your cooking and a good job you can cook!

Take good care of her. Look forward to seeing you both soon.

So glad the news is good, Bill. Writing becomes a doubly difficult calling under such stressful conditions. I hope it’s now full steam ahead for you. And why not spend a moment or two’s relaxation following the cricket? Oh, to be in England in the summertime!

Shirley — Thanks for that, I’m doing my best!! No doubt she’ll give you a full report on my TLC when we meet !

Keith — Thanks for that. Writing getting nicely under way again though not in full steam today; nor will it be tomorrow – this Test Match (last day tomorrow) could become a heart-stopper !!

Bill, So very happy for you that she is doing so much better and is home with you. Lucky girl! Hope the two of you are enjoying each other. God Bless, Myrna

I’ve just checked today to see if you are writing your blog again, and I’m pleased to see that you are. It’s quite adictive.
I’m glad to read that your daughter is on the mend. Mine is about to deliver our first grandaughter any day now.

    Julie
